Sailing from the sofa…
I have just discovered virtual sailing http://www.sailx.com/. We are going to the dinghy show down in London in March and as such we have received a whole load of promotional bumf – and one of these was an invitation to take part in a virtual sailing event with ‘live’ finals at the show!
So my free time is now entirely consumed with swearing at a computer screen while being mocked by other competitors from Portugal, Australia and Surrey. So just like a real regatta then… only you get to eat chocolate while you’re doing it.
As in real life I’m still coming in last.
