No tiller extension.
No tiller extension in the context of either my boat or your grandchildren! Hence the not on the water bit.
Giant disaster…..!
I must admit I have a persistent dream that something similar will happen to me, especially at the beginning of the season. It would be so easy to forget or mislay some critical piece of gear. I try and reduce the risk by keeping everything in the car or on the boat all season long, but even so it could happen.
Oh well. At least you got it out of the way now. You will never make the same mistake again, will you?
