The baby blanket continues.  I can’t tell you how long this is taking, it is occupying my every waking moment.  And i have made myself promise not to go near the bag of lovelyness from Woolfest until its finished.

Currently it looks like this and I think this ball of wool will finish it…..

My husband has started helpfully calling it the toddler blanket, and suggested that by the time it is finished it may even be the teenage blanket.

But this aside I am really pleased with how it’s coming out – the lace pattern is actually super easy and I think when blocked will look really special.

In hindsight I think the stripes on top of the lace may be a little overkill, but then, when can too many stripes be a bad thing really….
